Debi Chesler (Director) began her career in Jewish early childhood education in 1972 as an
assistant teacher at Temple Beth Ami in Reseda, CA. Over time she moved from pre-school and religious school teacher to lead teacher, eventually assuming the position of Director in 1990. She continued in that position until the school’s closure in 1996. Debi then taught parenting classes at synagogues throughout the Valley until 2000 when she became the ECEC Director at TAS. Debi and husband Andy have five children: Zachary and wife Arielle, Gillian, Hillary and Elijah.
