Brooke Botwinick joined the Temple Ahavat Shalom staff in July 2021 as our Youth Group Coordinator and took on the role of our Membership & Engagement Director in August 2022. Judaism has been a big influence in her life. Brooke was Bat Mitzvah and Confirmed at Kehillat Israel in Pacific Palisades and continues to be a part of their 20|30’s group. Brooke earned her B.A. in Psychology from Marymount California University in 2016. Since graduating, Brooke has taught religious school, led youth groups, been a Rosh Hodesh leader through Moving Traditions, and a Big through Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters. In her free time, Brooke enjoys baking, art, yoga, and playing with her two cats and dog.
Brooke’s passion for creativity, teaching, and natural ability to connect with others will facilitate interpersonal relationships and community. Brooke has truly enjoyed making connections and seeing TASTY flourish. She is looking forward to coordinating events, programming, engaging with current members and inspiring new ones to join. Brooke looks forward to building relationships both inside and outside our community.
