Aaron P. Solomon, M.P.A.
Executive Director
Over the course of his 25-year non-profit management experience with over 15 of those years in Jewish Communal Service, he has worked for organizations such as Covenant House California, City of Santa Clarita, La Cañada Flintridge Community Center, Union Station Homeless Services, and other Reform congregations. He infused all of this experience into his role as our Membership and Development Director and then Executive Director. The role focuses on the development and implementation of the organizational budget, annual giving, membership recruitment and retention, facility upkeep, managing human resource aspects, and implementation of organizational marketing and public relations.
Since joining Temple Ahavat Shalom, the most rewarding part has been building relationships with our members and lay leadership and connecting our members to their interests and passions, followed closely by several successful years of the Count Me In! annual giving program.
He is a graduate of California State University Northridge, where he received his M.A. of Public Administration. He and his beautiful wife Diane have been married for twenty-eight years. They have two amazing children Rebecca and David. When he’s not keeping busy at Temple Ahavat Shalom or home, you can find him riding around the Valley on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
