Religious School Educator
Cheryl joined the Temple Ahavat Shalom staff in August 2023 as our Religious School Educator.
Cheryl is an accomplished and energetic educator with 30+ years of experience in Jewish education. Excellent skills in teacher supervision, curriculum development, administration and management. Proven results in traditional as well as experiential and family education, working with professional peers and students to create positive learning experiences. Focus on active, student-centered learning, making connections between curricula and student’s lives.
Cheryl brings her expertise to our Religious School 15 hours per week. When she is not spending time coaching our teachers, communicating with parents and encouraging our students, Cheryl is the Mentor/Mentor Teacher for Milken Community Schools.
