TASTY – TAS Temple Youth
TASTY (Temple Ahavat Shalom Temple Youth) is a warm, welcoming, and inclusive community that builds captivating, empowering, and inspiring programming through youth engagement. Our youth groups are designed to provide fun social opportunities for our students while fostering leadership, strengthening Jewish identify, reinforcing values, and creating friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
TAS has a youth group for every age: • Senior TASTY (grades 8-12) • Junior TASTY (grades 6-7) • Club 345 (grades 3-5)
Senior TASTY (8th-12th grade) meets every other Tuesday for Lounge Nights. Lounge Nights are planned and led by an elected board of teens and the Youth Advisor. They range from paint night, trivia, potluck pool parties, and more! Throughout the year there are also events scheduled with other synagogue youth groups, retreats, and overnights.
In addition to our Senior TASTY program, we have Club 345 (grades 3-5) and Junior TASTY (grades 6-7) which are programs that encourage younger students to meet and socialize with their peers. Each of these youth groups provides regular, age-appropriate events and activities that foster socializing with Judaism, social action, and contemporary themes.

Alumni Outreach
Thank you for your interest in the TAS Alumni Outreach Program.
This program is set up to keep in touch with our TAS Alums (aged between 18 and 24) as they embark on their new journeys. We keep in touch by sending them celebratory care packages throughout the year. Having children that benefited from this program, we recognize its importance.
We would appreciate the community’s help by remembering the TAS Alumni Program when making honorary and memorial contributions. All donations can be made directly thru this website via the donate page, select “Alumni Outreach Fund” from the drop down menu options.
Lastly, if you have an alum and want him or her to partake in this program, please click here and answer all the pertinent questions so they can be included in our distribution list.
